- ürünün kimliği, adı, açıklaması, fiyatı ve para birimi; satın almanın sonucu;
- Google Play'in satın alma kaydı (sipariş numarası, satın alma jetonu, satın alma zamanı) ve imzası;
- telefonun modeli, Android sürümü, dil ve bölge ayarları, toplam depolama alanı ve en son ne zaman açıldığı;

Tintaqua Privacy Policy
This policy covers Tintaqua: Watercolor Painting ("Tintaqua"), the app for Android: what it keeps on your phone, what leaves your phone, and where it goes.
In short
- No accounts, no sign-in. The app never asks for your name, email or phone number.
- No ads. The app does not read your advertising ID.
- Your paintings and settings stay on your phone. We run no server, and the app sends nothing to us.
- You don't need the internet to paint. The app uses the internet for purchases.
- When you start a purchase, our purchasing library sends a purchase report to Unity. Details below.
What stays on your phone
Tintaqua keeps the following on your phone, in the app's own folder and settings file:
- Your paintings: the paint, the picture and a small preview, any pencil sketch and a copy of its reference photo, plus when the painting was started and last saved, its paper, its size and its coloring page.
- Your settings and progress: language, theme, brush size, palette, the recipes you've discovered, the tips you've seen, and the list of products you own.
- Gallery record: which of your paintings you've saved to your phone's gallery. Next to it sits a hashed form of the ID that Android gives this app on this phone. Its only job is to tell, when this record comes back from a backup onto another phone, that it describes a different phone's gallery.
None of this is sent to us, and we can't see it. It leaves your phone only in the ways described below.
Deleting
- You can delete a painting in My paintings; the copy of its reference photo is deleted with it.
- Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android's settings, deletes all Tintaqua data on the phone.
- Copies you saved to the gallery stay there; you can delete them in your gallery app.
- You manage the backup in your Google account from your phone's backup settings (see below).
- Products you buy are tied to your Google account. They come back when you reinstall; if needed, use "Restore purchases" in Settings.
Save to gallery
When you tap "Save to gallery", a copy of your painting is written to your phone's gallery, in the "Tintaqua" album. On Android 9 and older the app asks for the storage permission to do this; newer versions need no permission. The copy in the gallery is then part of your gallery: if photo backup is on for your phone, it may be backed up too.
Reference photo
To add a reference photo to a painting, you pick a photo from your phone's gallery. Tintaqua saves its own copy of it, at most 1536 pixels on the long side; the copy has no photo details such as location (EXIF). The copy goes into that painting's folder and is only shown on your phone, next to that painting. Your original photo is left untouched. The copy is never uploaded and never sent to us.
When you remove the reference (press and hold the reference box, then Remove; "Undo" brings it back for a few seconds) or delete the painting, the copy is deleted from your phone too. The copy is not in the cloud backup; a transfer to a new phone (Android 12 and newer) carries it along with your paintings. On Android 9 and older, picking a photo asks for the storage permission; newer versions need no permission.
Android backup
If Google backup is on for your phone, Android backs up some of Tintaqua's data to your Google account:
- Cloud backup: your settings and progress (including the list of products you own and the gallery record) and the paint of your newest paintings, up to about 20 MB. Reference photos are not in the cloud backup.
- Transfer to a new phone (Android 12 and newer): your settings and all of your paintings, with their reference photos. On older versions a transfer carries the same content as the cloud backup.
Google keeps the backups in your Google account; we have no access to them. You can turn backup on or off in your phone's settings. When the app is reinstalled and finds paintings in the backup, it tries to bring them back. Android decides what is backed up and when, so we can't promise that every painting will be in the backup.
Purchases and Google Play
Paid products such as papers, paints, palettes and themes are bought through Google Play. You enter your payment details in Google Play; the app never sees your card or payment details. The app learns from Google Play which products you own and keeps that list on your phone. When a refunded product drops off Google Play's list, the app locks it again.
Google Play shows us the order details of sales (such as the order number, product, amount, date and country) in the Play Console. We use them only to follow sales and to handle refunds and support. Google Play also shows us information such as install counts, ratings and crash reports in the Play Console; Google sends these, not the app. Data that Google collects is covered by Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
The purchase report sent to Unity
Tintaqua is made with Unity and uses Unity Technologies' "Unity In-App Purchasing" library for purchases. When you start buying a product, and when that purchase is paid, completed, cancelled or fails, this library sends a report to Unity's server. The report contains:
- the product's ID, name, description, price and currency, and the result of the purchase;
- Google Play's purchase record (order number, purchase token, purchase time) and its signature;
- your phone's model, Android version, language and region settings, total storage space, and when it was last switched on;
- the app's package name and version, when it was installed, and the install type.
The connection is encrypted with HTTPS. As with any internet connection, your IP address also reaches Unity's server. We don't see these reports: our project is not linked to Unity's cloud dashboard. Unity handles this data under its own privacy policy: unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
If you never start a purchase, this report is not sent. Unity's analytics, crash reporting and performance reporting services are turned off in the project.
Permissions
Tintaqua uses these permissions:
- Internet and network state: for purchases.
- Google Play billing: for purchases.
- Storage (only asked on Android 9 and older): to save your painting to the gallery and to pick a reference photo.
The app does not ask for location, camera, microphone, contacts or advertising ID permissions. The short vibrations you feel on taps are Android's haptic feedback; they need no permission and can be turned off in Settings.
If you write to us
When you write to tintaqua@sifirdokuz.com, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to answer you and share them with no one; if you ask us to delete them, we will. The support link in the app opens your email app and puts Tintaqua's version number in the subject line; you send the message yourself.
Your choices
The Tintaqua data on your phone is in your hands: see "Deleting" above. For data held by Google and Unity, you can use their privacy tools. If something goes wrong, write to us and we'll do what we can.
Children
Tintaqua is not directed at children under 13. The app asks no one for personal information such as a name or an email address.
Changes
We update this page as the app changes, and change the date at the top. If new information is going to leave your phone, we'll say so clearly on this page.
